In some schools of Buddhism, the bardo is an intermediate, transitional, or liminal state between death and rebirth. Photography, especially digital imagery, can occupy a similar space between the real and the possible. One's experience within the bardo depends heavily on the karma you bring; similarly, your experience of any particular image is influenced by the experiences, perspectives and emotional states you bring to the viewing.

I am interested in depicting the in-between of photography and art. Photography has long siloed itself apart from fine art - and to some extent, the reverse has happened as well - and I believe exploring the intersection can bring a new way to experience both.
